Agreed, and I think that Android devices finally grew up into a decent alternative many people got tired of waiting and are now under contract with something else. So the available market shrunk as more people got under contract.
Even though the iPhone4 is a great phone, the iPhone 5 is needed soon to energize things. Too many people realize that the iPhone4 is nearing the end of it's life cycle.
This is the issue with a yearly product cycle. People begin to understand when that cycle starts over, avoid new purchases of the product, and even tell their friends and family to not buy right now.

Since it reacently became freeware I have to include TextWrangler (http://www.barebones.com/products/textwrangler/) from BareBones, an exellent free alternative to BBEdit, also from Bare Bones. This one doesn't suck,� either... ;)
Also second, Adium X (http://adiumx.com/), which is so much better than Adium was... best multi protocol IM software I've found so far...

Hi all. I've been reading and searching but have a couple of questions about my 'new' Apple Power G4 Dual 867 Mhz. I'm going to be using it for media storage and as a back up device for my iMac and macbook. Its going to be in my bedroom so we can watch films etc in bed on lazy days as well.
My questions are:
Can I use a Sata drive run from a PCI Sata controller card as the boot drive?
Will the power supply be up to running 6 hard drives inside? (4 in standard locations and one in each 5.25 bay)
Are there any perennial issues with this model I should look out for?
I want to give it a good going over before I get it up and running. I was going to clean and reapply Arctic silver to the CPU/heatsink interface, upgrade to 2Gb RAM, replace the rather noisy fan with a higher CFM quieter version and anything else you guys can recommend

We had a huge day yesterday! 879,000 points in a single day!

Some more good news: at this rate, we are a week away from overtaking a team ahead of us, and less than a month from passing two more! Our biggest threat behind us is 8 months away, but by that time we will have passed at least 5 teams ahead of us. Great job guys! Keep it up!

Yes, because the hardware manufactured decided to use "GB" for Gibibyte instead of gigabyte. But since all memory (hardrives, ram) are in base 2, 2^30 = 1GB is correct.

The last time with a link to a petition I started which got over 700 Signatures from Pro Users and Techies' : http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/applepros/ in just a few days. It's a shame there weren't any record stores around back then, able to sell music on a form of portable media - sort of like those discs software comes on. You know, CDs. But for music! What a concept!
Anyone who downloaded from Napster with the excuse that they couldn't find contect elsewhere (like via Tower Records and a CD ripping program) is just plain lame...

I have a bunch of errors in console and I have NO idea what they could mean, and have also felt my computer is running hotter since updating to 10.6.7, though don't know for sure since I didn't regulate temps prior to the update.
But bottom line is I'm at 145 F CPU temps and all I'm doing is surfing the internet on Safari.
Anyway, console errors...I don't have a clue and am wondering if they could be causing extra processing of some type resulting in the higher temps.

Acting is hard. You only need to witness bad acting in one movie to understand this. For every A-list star, there are tens of thousands more out of work, because competition is tough and dependent on luck, too. But mostly, it comes down to supply and demand. I have no problems with actors getting 20 million a picture, they worked hard and there are only a handful of them, anyways.
